Thank you for your interest in supporting the Faith and Family ministry at Saint Luke’s.

We love that God has blessed each of us with talents and interests that support specific kinds of work. Which is why we want to provide opportunities for everyone who wishes to support this ministry, a chance to do so in a meaningful way. This short form is a simple way for you to get in touch and find the opportunity that encourages your joyful path to discipleship.

Some definitions to help in your selections:

Children’s Liturgy Team: 
Do you have a heart for worship? Does hearing Scripture give you joy? Come join the Liturgy team and share stories of Jesus with the next generation of faithful. 
We are looking for people who want to bring the Word of God to life; through stories, music, movement and prayer. 
Time commitment: 30min-1hr to prepare before your scheduled Mass time. 20-30min during Mass to be with the children. 1-2hrs throughout the year for team formation.

Hospitality & Name Tag Weekends: Roughly once a month the parish provides a special opportunity to connect with each other through either Name Tag or Hospitality activities. Help everyone receive a Name Tag or help set-up/clean up for Hospitality. We encourage every family to commit at-least once throughout the year in these simple but powerful service opportunities.
Time commitment: 30min either before or after Mass
 

Faith and Family office help: There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work in the office that keeps things moving smoothly for the children, the parents and the volunteers. Everything from cleaning out art supplies, photocopying handouts and stuffing envelopes to writing newsletters, touching base with families and helping create fun, engaging and meaningful activities! 

Time commitment: varies, often no more than an hour at a time. 

Faith and Family IT: Uploading content to the Google Classroom, updating the webpage, cleaning up database profiles. There is always a list of projects we are working our way through.
Time Commitment: varies. 1hr weekly. One-time events. Ongoing projects.
